2024 Spring Season Information

  • U8: K – 2nd grade (Practice Only option)
  • U10: 3rd – 4th grade
  • U12: 5th – 6th grade
  • U14: 7th – 8th grade
  • Practices
  • 2-3 evenings per week (coaches’ discretion)
  • Begin the week of March 4, 2024
  • All levels will be at Warren HS O’Plaine Campus Practice Fields (behind the football stadium)
  • Games & Spring Season
  • Games and tournaments mostly played on the weekends (makeup games may be on weekdays)
  • Home games played on Warren HS O’Plaine Football Stadium turf
  • The season ends June 1-2 with the IBLA end-of-season tournament
  • Scheduling of games for the entire IBLA League are limited by field and referee availability
  • Games schedules will be released after March 10, 2024
  • IBLA season games can be played between April 7 and March 30, 2024
  • Our teams will also participate in 2 tournaments outside of IBLA league play. These will be announced in 2024
  • USA Lacrosse Membership
  • IBLA requires each player to be a member of USA Lacrosse
  • Cost is $30 per player for an ANNUAL membership (you have to renew your USA Lacrosse Membership every year)
  • You cannot complete your WALA registration unless you enter your player's USA Lacrosse membership number in the registration process
  • If your athlete is already a member and their membership will last past June 2, you do not have to renew the membership
  • Get a USA Membership at https://www.usalacrosse.com/join
  • Fundraising (2 options)
  • Each athlete will be required to sell $200 worth of product OR
  • Add the buy-out option of $150 as part of registration
  • Rental Equipment (optional)
  • Lacrosse equipment is not included in registration fee
  • A Full-Set Rental includes: helmet, chest/shoulder pads, arm/elbow pads, gloves and stick
  • To purchase a Full-Set Rental, click on the Store and Rentals link at the top of our home page
  • NEW THIS YEAR - Player will keep the stick after rental period is over
