Join us for a fun season of Lacrosse! We will grow in our fundamentals, play some great games, and participate in a couple tournaments for an all around experience!

Borderland Girls 2025 Lacrosse - Spring 2025

Join us as we partner with Kenosha girls lacrosse! Kenosha is an established lacrosse team that we have as an organization been partnering with in other ways.   They invited us to join them to form a new girls lacrosse team so that we can offer girls lacrosse to our community at the U12 (5/6 grades) and U14 (7/8 grades) levels. 

There will be 7 games played regionally, up to about an hour away.  Games start April 5th weekend and end May 17th weekend.  Practices will be 2 days a week, one day at Warren fields, and one day in Kenosha, TBD the exact location.  Practices start the week of March 17th.  The girls will also play in the Prairie State Tournament on May 24th. 

The girls are welcome to join coed AND girls!  We will do our best to accommodate them to be able to successfully be on the 2 teams.

Lacrosse is a fast-paced, contact sport that combines aspects of soccer, basketball and hockey all while using a stick. Players can be of any size.  The game requires agility, coordination and coach-ability. 

Lacrosse ( “LAX” for short) is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation, state and especially at Warren High School. Warren Youth Lacrosse provide a Spring Lacrosse season within the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA). We organize activities outside the Spring season that are led by our group as well. We also encourage our players to join local Lacrosse Club teams to help improve their skills and game IQ. 

Warren Youth Lacrosse’s mission is to :

  • Provide a fun sport for grade school aged players 
  • Offer conditioning to keep your athlete in shape outside other sport seasons 
  • Build lacrosse skills for future Warren HS players
